Zoe is a multifaceted designer who balances common sense with emotional expression. To her, good architecture is one that works for everyone. She sees her craft as a pragmatic exercise where form follows function. Passionate about the environment, she strives to design sustainably, constantly asking, how can we build in a more conscientious way.
An East Coast transplant, Zoe joined WRNS Studio in November 2019 following a two-year tenure in Pittsburgh where she worked on a high-profile healthcare project. The fast-paced, aggressive timeline whet her appetite for complex, large-scale programs. Drawn to the collective wisdom of a diverse team, she approaches every new project as a learning opportunity to broaden her understanding of how buildings shape our lives. Dedicated to finding smart solutions to challenging design problems, Zoe has experience in healthcare, high-end residential, historic preservation, and exhibition design.
Zoe is a registered architect in New York. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where she studied abroad in India and was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for exceptional design ability. Following college, she moved to New York City gaining architectural design and project management experience at small and mid-scale firms. To stay creative during her free time Zoe enjoys arts and crafts, baking, and coming up with clever ways to furnish her living space. She is always looking for ways to spend more time outdoors; including skiing, hiking and discovering San Francisco’s many charms.
