Originally from Kansas City, a high school drafting class sparked Tim’s interest in architecture. Under the guidance of an inspiring teacher, Tim continued to develop his drawing skills and later attended Kansas State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree. Upon graduating, Tim moved to Raleigh, North Carolina focusing primarily on higher education and corporate projects, specifically research and technology projects in the higher-ed space.
Tim is inspired by architecture that employs a carefully calibrated mix of program, materials, context and thoughtful user and public interaction. For Tim, the most successful projects seamlessly blend these elements and represent each aspect equally.
