Susanne is an award-winning interior designer with experience working across cultures and countries. She joined WRNS Studio in Summer 2017 bringing an extensive design repertoire spanning corporate, retail and hospitality. She began her career in London followed by positions in Bangalore, Berlin, and Atlanta. Her most rewarding project was the Mayo Clinic Chapel, which combined a reductive material palette with curvaceous forms, resulting in a multifaceted, all-inclusive space for spiritual healing. At the studio, she brings that same sense of balance, merging beauty with sustainability to create awe-inspiring interiors that convey identity. As a conceptual thinker, she’s attuned to how occupants are affected as they move through a building and approaches projects by focusing on their spatial and intuitive qualities to create a shared sense of purpose.
Susanne earned her degree in interior architecture from Hochschule Wismar University of Applied Sciences: Technology, Business, and Design in Germany. Her coursework encompassed urban planning and landscape architecture, cementing her belief that design can be far-reaching and deeply emotive. During her free time, she likes to explore the city’s design culture, spend time outdoors, and travel.
