Stephanie is a design enthusiast with a lifelong passion for travel and culinary exploration. She finds inspiration in many facets of life, from sweeping landscapes and vibrant cities, to everyday objects. She has a photographer’s eye and an innate ability to create compelling visual stories that reflect a sense of warmth and place.
Stephanie worked for nearly six years as a high-end residential designer at a design-build firm in Lafayette, where she gained vital construction knowledge, allowing her to think critically about how beautiful designs actually get built. She became fluent in finish materials like tile, stone, and wood, and traveled to dozens of trade shows domestically and abroad to deepen her knowledge. In 2017, Stephanie left office life and experienced the world first hand, backpacking solo to 16 countries, across four continents, over the course of a year and a half. She immersed herself in local cultures and documented her travels through photography and writing.
An East Bay native, Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Design with emphasis in Interior Architecture from UC Davis. When Stephanie was a design intern at UC Davis, she worked on the same projects as WRNS Studio, giving her familiarity with the firm’s portfolio. Interested in the human experience of design and architecture, she strives to improve the built environment by taking a personal approach to design, and brings a timeless style to her work.
