Scott is a true manager of the design process: flexible, collaborative, and adaptable to new teams and ways of working. A strong leader, he gets his hands dirty and does things himself when the situation calls for it. Scott leads some of WRNS Studio’s largest projects, including recent efforts on a High Tech Client Campus, the University of California’s Global Health Sciences Building, and a new regional incubator/innovation center for the College of the Desert. Well-versed in alternative delivery methods, including Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery, and LEAN construction, Scott knows how to leverage the collaborative nature of these delivery models to deliver high-quality design within the strictest of budgets and schedules.
Early in his career, Scott developed an interest in the dynamic between old cities and new development; he remains curious about how modern architecture can blend or purposefully stand out against a historical urban fabric. With a mix of workplace, higher education, healthcare, and multifamily residential projects in his portfolio, Scott had focused his career on projects that elaborate on this topic while advancing the public realm. Scott earned his Master of Architecture from Syracuse University and his Bachelor of Architecture from Roger Williams University.
