Rachel Lu

As insightful and strategic designer, Rachel draws upon her background in product design to help ensure that the user experience guides the process. Interested in how architecture can serve both people and the planet, she gravitates toward healthcare and education projects. Rachel is particularly focused on advancing sustainable design solutions through her research in thermal comfort and micro climates for patients in healthcare facilities. Prior to joining WRNS Studio, Rachel worked in Copenhagen where she focused on education and workspace design. Rachel earned a Master of Architecture with an integrated Product Design Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Environments from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
