A North Carolina native, Michael completed both his undergraduate studies and his Master of Architecture degree at North Carolina State University. Michael enjoys the iterative design process of architecture and the balance and interplay between abstract formal concepts and pragmatic final detailing.
With a strong interest in how design can serve as a socially responsible action, Michael co-founded the Raleigh chapter of Architecture for Humanity, a non-profit group dedicated to providing volunteer-based architecture and design solutions to communities and organizations otherwise underserved. Before moving to the Bay Area, Michael worked on a variety of project types at LS3P Associates in Raleigh, North Carolina. Michael joined WRNS Studio as an Intermediate Designer in 2015.
