Meghan Cole

Sustainability Coordinator

Meghan is passionate environmental scientist who strives to make the world a more sustainable place. She sees architecture as a means to integrate the natural and built environments and is impressed with its ability to shape society’s development.

Meghan earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, with an emphasis on the relationship between the environment and society, from the University of Arizona. During her tenure, she worked as a green purchasing coordinator, whetting her appetite for sustainable design. She relocated to California in 2018, where she worked for Apple, before joining WRNS later that year.

A great problem solver and effective communicator, Meghan uses her meticulous organizational skills to tackle tight deadlines and unforeseen obstacles with ease and enthusiasm. At WRNS, she manages the pursuit of several benchmark systems including LEED, WELL, LBC, and Fitwell. Her efforts ensure that the firm remains on the cutting edge of environmental initiatives while positively impacting the community. A valuable team player, Meghan is a technical resource for the office. She meets with project teams to strategize on the best approach to achieve client sustainability goals and passes that knowledge to coworkers.

Meghan is originally from New Hampshire where she spent her youth outdoors. After completing her coursework in Arizona, she moved further west to the Bay Area. Never afraid of a new adventure, in her spare time, you’ll most likely find Meghan outdoors, biking, hiking, enjoying a local street fair, spending time by the water, or exploring new landscapes.
