How can architecture spark emotion? This is one of the questions at the core of Lucio’s design practice. Prior to joining WRNS Studio, Lucio worked with some of today’s top international firms, designing across scales and typologies—from residential and educational facilities to high profile civic and cultural projects. The common thread throughout Lucio’s broad and diverse portfolio is his fidelity to the needs of the user, understanding architecture as art one engages with spatially. An ethos of formal experimentation undergirds his work while philosophical and aesthetic commitments inspire him to continue uncovering architecture’s potential as a mediator of human experiences.
Lucio studied at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the Architectural Association School of Architecture. When he’s not in the studio, Lucio enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, and cruising along on his bike.
