Lily Weeks

Associate AIA / Senior Interior Designer

An appreciation of form, textiles, natural materials, architecture and space has been a lifelong and joyful inclination for Lily. A crafty kid growing up in Los Angeles, she was quick to learn of the satisfaction that comes from the act of making. Lily has cultivated this interest in several different positions, including interior designer for John Wilkins, and at Knoll, where she worked with the workplace research team to explore ways to optimize modern office environments. Lily was also a merchandiser, stylist, and designer with the Japanese clothing brand UNIQLO, where she worked with the creative team responsible for the brand’s flagship San Francisco store. In her current position as designer at WRNS Studio, she works directly with clients to develop workplace interiors. Lily earned her BA in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. She connects with the broader design community through Bay Area Young Architects (BAYA), first as a devoted attendee of events & now leading as chair for the committee. Over the course of her engagement with BAYA & AIASF, Lily has volunteered for a wide breath of events including the 2013/2015 Living Home Tours Docent, 2014 Design Awards Social Media Advocate, Panelist at BAYA’s 2015 Whats Next, Host and Presenter for 2014 BAYA Presents, 2015 Make the Connection and has spoken on workplace trends at the AIA California Council in 2014. In 2016 Lily became the chair of BAYA, and she has increased BAYA membership, sold out all events and connected with the broader community via networking events with other professional organizations such as NoMA, LiA, Habitat for Humanity, SEANOC, YLG, Young Engineers of ASHRAE & ASCE.
