Kiana is a methodical and intuitive designer. Coming from a mathematics and physics background, she thinks of architecture as a bridge between the arts and sciences; a combination of social and philosophical ideologies, spatial phenomenology, and tectonics. She is interested in solving complex spatial problems through data-driven and user-centered processes that directly affect and improve how people interact with the world around them. A multi-disciplinary designer, Kiana has experience in every phase of architectural design and construction. Having worked on various project types, she brings a distinct point of view to WRNS Studio and an astute eye to a range of disciplines including, conceptual design, technical detailing, interior design, construction administration, and translating design intent into built reality.
Kiana is a licensed architect in California. She received her Master of Architecture from Yale University and her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Tehran. Drawn to the outdoors, she spends her weekends motorcycling along the coast and backpacking in the Sierras.
