Fermin joins WRNS Studio as an Arizona transplant. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments from University of Arizona’s College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture. During his coursework, he studied the impacts of environmental design, planning, and management. At WRNS, he is focused on establishing an efficient workflow between architects, consultants, designers, and contractors, while managing the daily administrative duties of various teams and projects. Never afraid to roll up his sleeves and learn on the job, he brings a can-do attitude to the firm.
Driven by his passion for sustainable practices, Fermin is constantly thinking about how we can make existing buildings more environmentally conscious. He often ponders the orientation of buildings and how sunlight and shading affect their performance. Currently, he is working on becoming LEED certified. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the city’s design and food culture.
