Edward Kim

LEED Green Associate / Senior Associate, Project Designer

Ed is a designer who, at the onset of his career, hit the ground running — filling the role of Project Designer/Project Manager after graduating from UC Berkeley with his Bachelor of Architecture. He has led award-winning efforts for multi-family and single residential homes, shifting nimbly from project design to design management — a practice he still implements on larger-scale, institutional projects at WRNS. Ed brings a rare combination of versatility, design sensibility, determination, and humor to design management.

He approaches each project with a keen attention to detail, evaluating its unique constraints and design opportunities to arrive at the overall picture. Interested in sharing his knowledge with younger designers in the studio, he is one of the leaders of our in-house mentorship program, WRNS U.
