David first picked up a Pencil and T square in a high school Technical Drawing class in 1981. From that first moment he found he loved the process of drawing. David brings a particular love of the art of Construction Administration, finding it an honor to engage in such a pivotal project role. He finds it inspiring to see the results of our thoughts and ideas rise from a hole-in-the-ground to a fully functioning part of our built environment.
An Irish ex-pat, and now naturalized US citizen, he has lived in the US for over 20 years. He received his Diploma in Architecture from the Dublin Institute of Technology, a Degree in Architectural Science from Trinity College Dublin in 1993, and is a California Licensed Architect since 2000. Prior to joining WRNS, he worked for MEI Architects, and KMD Architects; managing over $600 million worth of major projects in the last decade. Contradictory to the ‘slow’ pace of construction, David is an avid runner, competing in over 50 friendly-ish races a year.
