David is a talented, hands-on designer drawn to the grit and grind of creating forms and the challenges of taking a project from concept to completion. Adept in rendering and a pro at 3-D model-making, he brings ideas to life, successfully communicating design intent with visual representations.
His pursuit of architecture was cemented during junior college when his team’s project won the Most Habitable Structure award at a statewide design-build competition sponsored by Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Following his coursework at College of San Mateo, David earned his Bachelor of Architecture from UC Berkeley. While there, he started an unofficial bowling club, rallying-up other architecture students every week for a league game, demonstrating his knack for leadership.
David joined WRNS Studio in mid-2018 with a familiarity of the firm’s work, having interned for the studio two years prior. He works with the Microsoft Redmond Campus team, providing design support and translating concepts into client-ready presentations. During his free time, he still hits the lanes but has added golf into his weekend repertoire.
