Drawn to architecture for its versatility and diversity, David seeks to bridge the gap between design and detailing by producing thoughtful, integrated building solutions. He is interested in the materiality of design: how light affects space, or how a custom woodworking detail can enhance a building’s design. Since earning his license in architecture, he now hopes to add a general contractor license, rounding out his understanding of design and its physical implementation.
David earned his Bachelor of Architecture at the Pratt Institute, where he received the Arthur Edwards Award for Outstanding Scholarship. While there he completed a thesis on synesthesia and the reuse of water in a combined garden, laundromat, and spa. He hopes to implement sustainable solutions on a range of project scales at WRNS, expanding upon his experience with large-scale commercial efforts.
