As a Project Architect at WRNS, Chad Garrety has experience in all design phases from conceptual design to construction administration. While fully embracing the power of BIM and 3D visualization, he never hesitates to incorporate hand drawing in the iterative search for the best design solution.
Chad was initially drawn to design by his background in construction and interest in fine art. He believes that architecture plays a vital role in our society, both in representing a culture or community and in fostering its vitality. Firmly believing that all people deserve good design, Chad maintains a passion for connecting under-served populations to thoughtful, contextual, and sustainable architecture.
A recipient of the AIA Henry Adams Medal, Chad graduated with High Distinction from Pennsylvania State University, earning a Bachelor’s of Architecture and Minor in Civic and Community Engagement.
Outside of the studio, he loves to explore the outdoors on his road bike or the backpacking trail.
