Cara joined WRNS Studio in the Spring of 2018 with extensive knowledge of the solar industry. Passionate about creating a sustainable planet for future generations, she’s interested in exploring how the built environment informs everyday decisions and impacts society’s overall well-being.
Cara enjoys the scale and meticulous planning that goes into architectural design and aspires to continue WRNS’ environmental stewardship by being a sustainability advocate for different community projects. A resource for sustainability accreditation and benchmarking, she supports project teams with research initiatives for the most rigorous green building standards. A diligent task manager and logistical expert, she has a strong attention to detail and thorough planning savvy.
As a San Francisco native, environmental accountability is part of her fabric. Cara earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Planning from Sonoma State University. She began her career prospecting energy related terms for the ‘Lexicon of Sustainability’, a multi-platform project focused on teaching the language of sustainability through storytelling. During her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, spending time with her family, and traveling.
