Anita Hsieh is Project Architect with more than ten years of experience working on residential, aviation, and cultural projects. With a particular focus on multi-family housing, her portfolio includes South Bascom Mixed-Use Development in San Jose and Greystar Redwood City.
With a long-term interest in adaptive reuse and community-oriented projects, Anita’s graduate thesis speculated a on post-industrial and post-agricultural development through the transformation of an abandoned carpet factory into a community market. Through her engagement with non-profit developers–such as MidPen Housing, ECS, and TNDC–she’s worked with marginalized communities to develop affordable housing projects. Anita is holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland and a Master’s of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis.
