Amanda Darus

CID, WELL AP, LEED GA / Interior Designer

Amanda is a savvy interior designer who thrives on creation, experimentation, and exceeding expectations. Whether she’s conceiving engaging workspace concepts, developing furniture standards, or designing unique millwork solutions for complex projects, she takes a personal, thoughtful approach that culminates in meaningful expression.

Amanda joined WRNS Studio in 2019 with almost a decade of interior experience. She has a knack for optimizing space, seamlessly weaving acoustical and lighting strategies with furniture, fixtures, and finishes to create empowering environments. Having worked at small and large architecture firms, on the furniture dealer side, and directly with clients, she has a keen ability to coalesce the technical, functional, and visual aspects of a program into a cohesive, appealing narrative. Quick to new environments, she’s as comfortable working on fast-paced, tight-deadline projects as she is with measured, longterm ones, and has serviced some of the world’s leading brands including Microsoft, Symantec, and WeWork’s enterprise client, Amazon.

Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design with a minor in Environmental Studies from San Diego State University and throughout her career has honed her professional skills, including being active with ASID and teaching WELL workshops. During her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, photography, graphic design, art, and music, which she parlays into her everyday work.
